What Congressmen Were at CIA Briefings of Enhanced Interrogation Techniques?

We are finding out with Obama’s one-sided administration that the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is a wonderful thing. Lately the news has been that Obama released the CIA memos on waterboarding. At least he released the memos that benefit him. Dick Cheney calls for all the memos to be released.

Now what squirming is going on? Well, Congress was involved in the briefing of enhanced interrogation techniques. They are now all distancing themselves. Either they don’t remember the discussion of waterboarding, or the lawyers lied to them or they didn’t have their staff. It’s all just bogus and weasel.

Why? Because this was 2001 and 2002. We were all afraid or another terrorist attack. Heck, even Rosie O’Donnell was supporting President Bush. It was another era. And the entire mood was we will do whatever it takes to protect this nation. And even more importantly our congressmen did not want to be the ones known for voting against, speaking against or even thinking against any technique that would obtain important national security information.

Now its 2009. Democrats are in charge. The left extreme that controls that party is not in favor of the war, waterboarding, the military or even national defense. Now the correct congressional view is to attack the very things they condoned a few short years ago. Though the lemmings may not be smart enough to figure this out, we can. They were there. They agreed to it. They are not stupid people and if they are they should just resign now for that reason alone. They have no problem asking probing questions when it is politically beneficial for them to do so. They knew what was going on and now they are trying to distance themselves from it.

    they ask us to strip down and be searched as honest Americains; so we comply.
    can anyone say NAZI Germany! what do you think they did in the 1930,s and 1940,s: oh the cold war too!, the view and thought of that makes many american.s who have been born here realize their right to travell and not to mention go to school has been forever sequestered.
    even in my town a 9 year old boy was placed on the terriorst watchlist;
    why he only had a BB gun in his pack” they led him off in HANDCUFFS
    oh we are so civilized to do that” put babys and that is what they are babies” under watch America has homeland security watching us ok we are slaves now.
    I wonder who watches Homeland security?
    and who watches the watchers of the watchers after that by the way.
    The Politicians are really nothing but our servants (Public Servents) they can be removed from office at anytime we deem needfull or desire.
    Some have been in there so long that they littary forgot why they are there in the first place!
    so many americans wait till the american Gestapo kick in their doors and drag them away.
